NRP Naming
Project Overview
Property naming is about more than just a label—it sets the tone for the entire experience. A great name captures the essence of the building, reflects its character or location, and resonates emotionally with its audience. Whether modern, classic, or abstract, the right name creates a strong first impression and helps define the property's identity. The following examples showcase how thoughtful naming can elevate affordable housing developments with clarity, purpose, and lasting impact.
Emblem
Emblem was chosen to symbolize pride, achievement, and lasting impact. The name reflects the project's role as a landmark in the city’s commitment to affordable housing and community empowerment. Located in the highly desirable MOCA neighborhood, Emblem marks The NRP Group’s first affordable development in the District of Columbia—a meaningful milestone. More than just a name, Emblem represents progress, inclusivity, and opportunity, standing as a beacon of what’s possible when thoughtful development aligns with the values of a growing, diverse city.
